My lovely monday list

Hi guys!
I decided to make a list of nice and pretty things, which I absolutely adore!

1. the beautiful paintings from Danny Roberts, I really

love his work! Very inspiring!

2. Little backpacks, I think they are absolutely

adorable! I've got a black one from H&M but

I would love to own a beautiful brown leather one or

one with a floral print!

3. Aztec prints! Those prints make me feel very

happy!

4. Flow magazine. Definetly one of my favourite

magazines! It's a Dutch magazine full of beautiful

pictures, prints, paintings, drawings, very inspiring people

 and little presents (like paper gadgets).

5. Desert boots. I'm already looking for a pair of these boots

for ages! Hopefully I'll find a perfect pair soon!

Well, this was a list of beautiful things which I absolutely adore lately. Now I'm going to have a cup of tea with some honey and read in one of my flow magazines ;)

grandmother's fabric

Zometeen ga ik samen met mijn moeder naar mijn lieve oma. Ze heeft altijd veel genaaid en door de jaren heen veel mooie stoffen verzameld. Jammer genoeg doet ze het de laatste tijd niet veel meer (onder andere vanwege haar ene oog, waardoor ze het draadje al niet meer door de naald krijgt) en doet ze alle stoffen weg...oftewel: kom maar naar mammie, stofjes! Ik ben gek op stofjes, waar ik dan kussens en knuffels van naai :)
Ik kan niet wachten om achter m'n naaimachine te kruipen!
Ik zal binnekort foto's maken van dingen die ik heb genaaid :)

My mom and I will go to my grandmother in about an hour. My grandmother used to sew a lot, but now she's a bit too old for it. So she decided to give all her nice fabrics to me! I love to make pillows and cute dolls, so I can't wait to start sewing with my 'new' fabrics! :)

Hoi allemaal!
Elke maandag vanaf nu ben ik van plan om een post te maken over een zangers/zangeres/band die ik leuk vind. Zo gezegd, zo gedaan: vandaag de aller eerste post van de serie :)
Diane Birch
De laatste tijd luister ik erg veel naar de liedjes van Diane Birch. Ze heeft een ontzettend mooie stem, met veel soul erin. Maar naast ze een onweis goede zangeres is, heeft ze ook een hele leuke stijl. Ze draagt veel leren jasjes, oversized truien, schattige rokjes en natuurlijk, om niet te vergeten, heel veel zwarte hoedjes!

I'm really into the music of Diane Birch recently. I love her beautiful voice, full of soul. But besides she's a great singer, she also has a very nice style. Her black hats, leather jackets, dark hair, cute skirts.. I like!

Italian vibe

Vanochtend wakker geworden onder het genot van een drilboor bij buurmanlief en een krijsende baby uit een van de tuinen aangrenzend aan de onze. Daarom alleen al mis ik Italië, waar je 's ochtends werd gewekt door een aantal fluitende vogeltjes. Zucht. Ik mis het weer, de knal blauwe zee, de vriendelijke mensen, het "no worries" sfeertje..héérlijk! Om de pizza's natuurlijk niet te vergeten! Hihi, ik heb nog nooit zoveel pizza's in drie weken gegeten! Rome is ook echt een betoverende stad, overal waar je kijkt zie je mooie gebouwen, gezellige winkelstraatjes, restaurantjes.. zeker een aanrader!
Waar zijn jullie naartoe geweest op vakantie? (hallo, is daar iemand? echo echo haha!)
Als er iemand is die heel toevallig dit leest, laat dan een berichtje achter, vind ik leuk :)

Oh, I really want to go back to Italy! I miss the weather, the sea, the lovely people and the relaxed atmosphere! (oh and ofcourse the pizza!)

crystal clean

Pff, vandaag ben ik de hele dag bezig geweest met mijn kamer opruimen! Ik dacht dat er geen einde aan kwam! Nu m'n eerste momentje rust, nadat ik die mount Everest aan kleren, papier en prulletjes heb opgeruimt en de vloer heb gestofzuigt. Nu m'n kamer er weer toonbaar uit ziet, krijg ik wel gelijk weer zin om inspiratie op te doen.

Today I've spend the whole day cleaning my room. Oh my, what an enormous mess! But now everything is nice and clean! To be honest, I'm quite proud of myself, hah!

I really like the picture beneath, I would love to have all those beautiful furniture!

No world without art

I made this painting a couple of months ago for an exhibition in a library. The theme was "Strange Birds". It's a boy in a bird costume and he doesn't really like to wear it (neither would I !)

back in black

hi hi!
Ooh it's been a looong time since I posted something, It's a shame! To be honest, I totally forget I had a blog! But I'm enjoying my summer holiday right now, so I've got lots of time to blog!
My goal for the upcoming weeks/months/year is to start with my blog again and to post far more often!
I promise :) !
So there we go, my first post in the right direction hihi!
